"I Could Never Do That"

One of my favorite wins as a coach is watching someone do something they once thought was impossible (this is also my most favorite feeling as an athlete myself too).

A while back, one of my clients had both of her knees replaced. Daily activities like walking the dogs or going up and down stairs could cause her difficulty.

Fast forward to today: she’s gardening without pain, able to keep up with her puppies, and about to step onto a weightlifting platform for her second weightlifting meet this year.

This is what strength actually gives you. It’s not just about adding weight to a barbell - it’s about what that strength makes possible for you both physically and mentally.

You become someone who believes, "I can do hard things."

And perhaps even more importantly: "I can do hard things and recover from them."

That kind of confidence can change the way you see what’s possible - not just in the gym, but in your entire life.
